We present an erratum to the article “Neural Processing of Immediate versus Delayed Feedback in Action–Feedback and Stimulus–Feedback Associations,” published in the Journal of Cognitive Neuroscience (2025) 37 (11): 2225–2259. https://doi.org/10.1162/JOCN.a.49. After publication, we discovered an error in the experiment source code affecting one of the three experimental conditions, the passive stimulus feedback condition (PSFC). Importantly, the main article focuses on the comparison between the other two conditions, the action feedback condition (AFC) and the active stimulus feedback condition (ASFC), neither of which is affected by this error. The main conclusions of the article are based on this comparison and therefore remain unchanged. The abstract is likewise unaffected, as it exclusively reports findings and conclusions based on the unaffected AFC–ASFC comparison. However, the comparison of the AFC and the affected PSFC is reported in the Appendix, and the results of this analysis are at least briefly referred to in the Discussion section of the main article. With this erratum, we aim to describe the nature of the error and explain its implications for the analyses involving behavioral and ERP data from the PSFC condition, as well as for the interpretation of those results.
